January 2013 Warm Homes
The Stapleford Environment Group’s Warm Homes afternoon, will be held on Saturday 9 February 2013 at Bury Farm. The event will be the latest in an award-wining series of village energy days organised in association with SCDC’s Sustainable Parish Energy Partnership programme. There will be workshops on energy saving and practical DIY solutions; a session on the government’s new Green Deal; tours of the ACE building to learn of the energy-saving measures they have incorporated; and trade stands where you can discuss different options with the manufacturers and installers. You will even be able to input the dimensions of your own house into the computer to find the best solutions for you! All this, AND free tea and cake!

As you are aware the ACE Foundation is planning on converting the derelict buildings of Bury Farm into a study centre for art, music & culture.
If you are interested in learning more about the progress that has already been made and our plans for the future, we invite you to join us on Friday, April 20 at Bury Farm, between 6 and 7.30pm. We will be giving tours of the site at 6.15 and 6.45pm.We hope you will be able to join us
