Bassoon Day
With Philip Turbett & Graham Dolby
Sunday 10th April 2011 | 10.00-5.30 | Sawston Village College
One of the more noble instruments, bassoons often get overlooked or bundled together with other instruments. Philip Turbett and Graham Dolby overcame this misjudgment and dedicate this day solely to bassoons. As well as playing repertoire devised specifically for bassoons, there were opportunities to learn more about the history of the bassoon and the particular techniques of playing this wonderful and charismatic instrument!
