Summer Schools
Summer schools at Oxford and Cambridge were pioneered by ACE (The Association for Cultural Exchange) in the late 1950s and 1960s, giving foreign students the opportunity to experience the culture of the UK and benefit from teaching by expert tutors. We have revised and updated our British Archaeology Summer School for 2012; it will be directed by Prof Paul Mellars, ACE trustee and Chair of Prehistory and Human Evolution at Cambridge University. We also have an exciting new summer school in British and American Intelligence and Security. We are busy devising a collection of these courses for groups of Chinese and American students amongst others. See below for schools coming up soon.
